"These Goals are so amazing. We now have over 230 Rotorua school children playing Flippa ball this term from most primary school in the district," said Vernei Mullen, Programmes Coordinator at the Rotorua Aquatic Centre.
"They not only look great, but they'll save us time on the set up and pack down when running the competition. In the past it would take two staff up to 1 1/2 hours setting up the courts . When running such a large competition for up to 20 weeks a year it is important that the competition runs efficiently and the equipment lasts. Storage is another key reason for choosing the Packagoals and we no longer have to store the goals outside, exposed to the elements. Instead they can be quickly packed away and brought inside for safe keeping." added Vernei.
Recreation Rotorua, in conjunction with Waterpolo Rotorua, is running the Term One 2013 Flippa Ball season. This competition gives primary school students in Rotorua the opportunity to experience modified Waterpolo skills and be physically active, while having fun in the water.
