American Bocce Company takes it seriously

'We take it seriously so you don't have to' is a phrase that rolls off the tongue of Alex Gara, co-founder of the recently launched American Bocce Company.  

The charismatic leader with the infectious smile is, by his own admission, a bocce ball nut who's determined to take the sport of bocce to a new level.

"It is a social yet competitive game that can be enjoyed by a wide range of individuals," said Gara. "We're lucky to have a huge following here in the Chicago area and it just makes sense to try and take the sport further afield."

Equally fanatical about bocce is ABC's co-founder Ben Tudor, "We just love the sport, which is what makes this business so much fun," he said. "We can quickly turn a sleepy mid week venue into a vibrant entertainment spot where people find like minded people and have a lot of fun."
