Packagoals provide flexible solution

Children from 10 primary schools took part in the first ever  Mini Water Polo Festival at the Pelican Centre in Tyldesley, UK.

Over 90 children from St. George's Central, St. Philip's, Holy Family, St. Michael's, Garrett Hall, St. Richard's, Tyldesley Primary, St. Ambrose Barlow, St. Stephen's and St. John's all took part in five minute matches against other teams in their group.

"It was an exciting final match," said Paul Costello, tournament organiser. "St. Richards met Garrett Hall who went on to win 4-2 and were crowned the first ever ATSA KS2 Mini Water Polo Champions. Special thanks to Packaworld, who sponsored the event, and provided their inflatable water polo nets . The nets provided us with a great deal of flexibility as it  meant we could divide the pool into two. The nets proved to be a real hit with the players and spectators and contributed to the festival being the success that it was," he added.

"Tyldesley are the first and no doubt not the last UK Water Polo Club to use these goals," said Packaworld CEO, Peter Roberts.
