The Wellington Phoenix put PackaGoals to the test

At their open training session, in a small sided game at Newtown Park, the Wellington Phoenix put the PackaGoals through their paces. 

Football Central, Wellington's premier football store and distributor for PackaGoals, were invited by Phoenix coaching staff to set up the 16' x 7' PackaGoals which were made an integral part of the training session. Players, coaches and supporters alike were suitably impressed with the goals and at first not many believed that the goals were inflated, such was the professional look. 

"Before the game started I asked Paul [Ifill], to go easy on the goals," said a happy Pete Roberts, Head of Packaworld ,  "but after he smashed a few in I was pretty confident they'd withstand the power of even his best shot." he added.

Both Ricki Herbert and Jonathon Gould (Wellington Phoenix Coach and Assistant Coach respectively), were equally impressed with the goals. "They're pretty dammed good," said Jonathon "I may even get a set myself."

The 'Packagoal Challenge' was also a great hit at the Phoenix Day, with new signing Jeremy Brockie getting into the spirit of things with a player (Phoenix) record of 22 secs to inflate a 6' x 4' PackaGoal. Check out photo's of attempt here.
