The main event saw UWA beat Fremantle 42-39 in a thrilling contest. Tom Freeman, event organiser and water polo player for UWA, says the Cottesloe Cup will be back again in 2022, after receiving 100 per cent positive feedback. “Everyone was having a ball,” he said. “Perfect weather, a brilliant atmosphere and close games made this a very special day. “We plan on being bigger and better next time around, with planning already taking place. Stay tuned!” Packaworld Chief Executive Peter Roberts said it was fantastic to see the Packagoals and inflatable water polo fields used at the outstanding festival-style event. “Congratulations to Tom Freeman and Delfina for organising a fantastic tournament that puts water polo in the spotlight and helps to grow awareness of the game.” VIDEO: Cottesloe Cup highlights and recap>> Want more information about Packaworld's portable water polo fields and Packagoals?
