The Challenge
Rugby is one of the world’s most popular sports. It has several sporting codes, including rugby union, rugby league, sevens rugby and touch rugby, and is enjoyed around the world. But despite its passionate fans, rugby faces major hurdles in growing its player base.
Full size rugby posts are 5.6 metres across and at least 3.4 metres tall. Often made of wood, steel or aluminium, the posts are hard to move and set up.
This makes 'real rugby' difficult to offer in areas without existing facilities, forcing players to travel long distances to play on pitches with posts, or to forgo posts entirely.

A New Approach
Rugby Packaposts are high-quality inflatable posts developed to make the 'grass roots' game of rugby more like the real thing. Junior Packaposts are ideal for growing the junior game, and the full-sized version can also be used for rugby introductory sessions, tournaments and as a training aid to simulate real game situations. The full sized posts are also popular for visually impaired (VI) rugby because they are easy to re-position to suit the field sizes used for visually impaired rugby matches.
Packaposts can be set up in minutes and easily packed away, transported and stored to overcome the logistical problems clubs face when setting up and storing rugby posts. The posts are a professionally made, innovative product catching the attention of unions around the world and helping players to bring the game of rugby to anywhere there is a flat surface. They are a versatile solution for established and developing rugby nations alike. Made from heavy duty thermoplastic and a lightweight aluminium crossbar for the full-sized version, Rugby Packaposts feature a unique auto-lock valve and slick design. Designed as a temporary post to be quickly inflated and set up as needed, they offer a superior playing experience and can be rapidly deflated for compact storage. |
