Packaworld Product Repair Instructions
Providing you follow the care & maintenance instructions, especially around storage and transportation/moving goals, your Packaworld products will give you many years of trouble free service. That said, punctures can occur and in the unlikely event that this happens - do not panic. Packaworld products are repairable and simple punctures can usually be carried out using the 'Repair Kit' that comes with each goal or by using a patch by following the instructions below. Where larger patches are required Packaworld recommends to contact a reputable inflatable repair company with the skills to carry out this type of work (e.g. boat repair companies).
Leakages can also occur in seals (joints between hose and hard plastic connectors). This is often caused by goals being dropped on hard ground. Rest assured these leaks can also be repaired - see also below for instructions.

Repairing leaks in hard plastic connectors
|
Leaks can occur in the hard plastic connecting joints and are usually caused by the equipment being dropped or banged on a hard surface.
Do not despair as these leaks can be simply repaired by following the instructions in the video and using a specialist Silicone Sealant - Sikasil NG (NOTE: Please also follow the application instructions on the packaging [of the sealant]). Once the repair is undertaken DO NOT inflate the products for at least 24 hours to allow the sealant to cure. Should leaks continue to occur then repeat the process by removing the Silicon and cleaning the joint. |
