The Challenge

Whilst the construction of astro turf grounds have reduced game day cancellations caused by the weather in many parts of the world, it has also introduced some challenges for softball clubs.

Local authorities are worried that their long term investment in astro-turf grounds could be compromised by using traditional heavy duty steel framed back nets anchored to the ground with steel pins. As a result solutions have been sort to provide a non-permanent, back net system that negates the need for ground fixings.
