Packaworld fields help bring new beach water polo tournament to Perth

The inaugural Delfina Cottesloe Cup Beach Water Polo tournament was a scorching success, bringing together more than 200 players to battle it out in 40C heat at Cottesloe Beach in Perth. Organised to raise awareness .

Organised to raise awareness of water polo and bring University of Western Australia (UWA) and Fremantle together prior to the National League season, the 22 January tournament saw 210 players battling it out in 40C heat at Cottesloe Beach in Perth.

World's first water polo game on the Great Barrier Reef

Australia’s Great Barrier Reef became the stage for a world-first water polo event on Sunday, when members of the Australian women’s water polo team took to its warm tropical waters for a one-of-a-kind exhibition match.

The match was organised by Cairns Water Polo Club and Sunlover Reef Cruises, with special permission from the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority. It was played 47 km offshore alongside the Moore Reef Marine Base using a portable Packaworld water polo field and Water Polo Packagoals.

Karratha Water Polo Association - Malus Island, Western Australia

Packaworld’s custom-made inflatable water polo playing fields featured at the Karratha Water Polo Association’s annual Australia Day water polo tournament at Malus Island, located 20 kilometres off the coast of Western Australia.

An old quarry in the forests of Ohio is gaining cult status among water polo enthusiasts as the venue for one of North America’s most unusual outdoor festivals.

Water polo in a remote crater - really ?

The Crater Lake Series harnesses the unique, tropical climate and idyllic surrounds of State and National Parks to provide water polo with the beautiful canvas it deserves. 

The event hops across two pristine volcanic lakes on the Tablelands region of Cairns. The first round is at Lake Barrine and the second fixture is at Lake Eacham, both lakes are about an hours drive inland from Cairns.

The focus of Crater Lake Series is to have fun, get active, and open up our sport to a larger regional audience. All the teams are mixed-gender with at least one junior player in each team. >> READ MORE
