NZ Parliament host 'Rippa-Rugby' mini tournament

A New Zealand Rugby Selection, took part in a mini Rippa Rugby tournament outside the spectacular grounds of Parliament today.

Making up the tri-team tournament was a Wellington Rugby Selection and a Parliamentary team made up of some enthusiastic Members and Parliamentary staff.

The mini tournament was being staged as part of the build up to the Bledisloe Cup game being held this coming Saturday.  Special permission had been given by the Speaker for the tournament to be held outside the forecourt of Parliament.

Wellington ran out winners in the final beating NZ Rugby in the final 45 - 20.
